Cricket Club Funding

Morning All,

Being a charity fundraiser for a very long time, you'd think I'd probably know the answer to this, but as it's a bit niche, I thought I'd ask you all!

My local Cricket Club is looking to source funding to fix the changing rooms roof and make other improvements. It's a good community hub and has a great venue attached to it, but it's not a registered charity.

I've done Trusts and Foundations fundraising before and I'm happy to help them look for things in my spare time, but they're not yet a registered charity.
I've done some a bit of research, but if the HiveMind has any suggestions of places to apply to, I'd appreciate the info.

Cheers!

ECB & Sport Funding do grants, Lancashire Cricket Club might point you in the right directtion also

Clocked them so far, but if there's any other funding streams that would be very handy.
I'm going to have a chat with the club tonight. I'm a member but if I can use my knowledge to help them, then it's the right thing to do

You'll need to check if the club has club mark - if so then that opens a lot of avenues for funding - sure theres a fund especially for clubhouse upgrades - we are looking into it to convert a space at our club to female changing rooms.
This is the one we are looking at for the changing rooms -

Cheers. I've e-mailed them now.
Hello. We've used alot of different sources over the last few years.

Local council
Sport England
County Grant funding
Biffa waste funding
Windfarm funding
Section 106 (new local housing)

They're the main ones off the top of my head.
