SOL expansion

Investment in the ground doesn’t count towards FFP losses, but the incremental revenue gives you more FFP headroom assuming you sell more tickets once built.

From KLD’s perspective he will get that investment back when he sells the club anyway, assuming they’re able to fill the extension.

Let’s see how often we sell out this season. I’d like to see them do it though.

That's definitely not right. The seats were initially in the upper tier.

No. The stadium is designed to be extended easily by adding a second tier. Something like that would be a much bigger job.
I'm saying bcb was part of ground when it opened and the extension went on top after. The seats were in the top tier of lower bowl until the extension was added.

Are you sure??

My memory says that the BCB was entirely a new venture. When it first opened, all ST holders were given complimentary access to it for one game. It was that and the Legion of Light magazine through the post that was given as a renewal sweetener.

Every game in our ends.... the likes of Fulham & Bournemouth won't sell the 3000 though

I know what you're saying, but you're mistaken. The area the BCB is in and the steps going up were added during the extension.

Yeah, his memory is playing tricks on him. It wasn't there.

The majority of hospitality sold out long before now for the coming season and general sale for the first game sold out weeks ago.

IF we do half decent this season the stadium will be too small as it is.

This can't be true. Our stadium is far too big for us and we should demolish the North Stand extension, I read it on here 🤣

One problem we have is the South Stand would usually be the next extended, to bring capacity up to 55k.

If it mirrored the North Stand then the extra corporate seats would be unlikely to sell. They're struggling to sell 76 Yards as it is. For decent extra corporate stuff you're looking at doing something with the East Stand really.

I think most including me would like to see a full bank of seats rather than be cut in half with corporate making it a proper home end

check out the videos of the opening on here....can see theres nowt at the back of the north stand - not aimed at you @AndrewP

If budget was there, I’d take capacity off the east to include more corporate at the back of a renovated stand and extend the south stand to be a proper big home end. Capacity maybe a couple of thousand bigger but nothing drastic.

I don’t think the stadium can feasibly exist as it is for much longer given the changing tastes and demands of crowds. It’s a 90s stadium and times have quite drastically changed.
