Somerset v Durham 22nd - 25th July

That's the worrying issue. Both North and Bostock can do as they please with no accountability to our faceless board none of whom have any cricketing pedigree. Barring Bob Jackson if he's still on the board.
Gentleman came past me at the close, obviously knowing I was from Durham, started telling me how his best mate was our Chief Exec. I told him to tell him he's doing a terrible job, saved you he retorted, I can't deny his reasoning but still think Bostock gets away with murder and asked this bloke to tell him so.
He seemed a canny bloke and wasn't looking for an argument, in fact he was sympathising with our abject display.

Just an opinion but I cannot stand Bostock whose only concern is filthy lucre as a foremost priority
I might be wrong but wasn’t Durham reconstructed as a community interest company
As such the interests of the community must surely take priority
Bostock is a former director of a 16.4 side at the same time North was part of the same 16.4 side. Bostock has been rumoured to have been in for ECB jobs previously also. Neither give a chuff about Durham, something I've said for years and I'd happily see the back of both which I have said many times before. Handbrake is off with the pair of them since Botham left. Yes about the community company as well yet they can't even be arsed to consult us about the future of the game.

It’s all about protecting the recognised batsman.
Yeah i get that but it was almost as if we were prepared to lose another wicket in order to preserve Gay......which is exactly what happened. No offense to Parky but I would have thought Potts would be a better Nightwatchman than him

Think there's more chance of seeing the ex - Genesis drummer/singer at the Riverside than his namesake ie our Chairman.

North should have got his cards and coppers at the same time as Franklin. Sadly it seems the club couldn't afford it.
Would you recognise our chairman if he was there?
I've never heard not read of that name in a cricket context.
I suspect he's a buddy of either Bostock and/or North.
Sadly both of them will only go when and if they chose to.
We're doomed!

Wouldn't recognise him and I doubt many even know his name. He's clearly a "yes man" and as I've said certain things have ramped up since Botham left. Botham would have been all for proper member consultation. This lot don't care.
