I think it's a very good look, we weren't completely happy with the deal, so rather than just take a chance we walked away. Bearing in mind we're talking about tying the club to a 5 year contract, we want to be smart about it.

I might have missed something but I see it as the club not being messed around.

There's been a lot of suggestions this pre season (often from those who have missed out) that we're overpaying for players in fees and wages. I think the Lauriente carry on maybe suggests we're not.
