My first year as a member and am considering using it rather than driving to Heworth and getting the Metro.

Anyone used it before? A good or a bad thing?

Never used it as the wife has family 800 yards from the ground so we just park at that location. I noticed the bus is now £6.

No, South Northumberland ground is in Gosforth. It is right next door to the Job Bulman (Wetherspoons) pub. It's a great location to be honest.

We drive, booked parking through justpark / yourparkingspace and managed to get a spot in the flats at the corner of the ground last couple years. Bloke was happy to give us it for free this year

No, South Northumberland ground is in Gosforth. It is right next door to the Job Bulman (Wetherspoons) pub. It's a great location to be honest.

Handy for nipping out for food etc.

I don't mind. It's a day out I really enjoy although I appreciate it inconveniences some, including me.

I'd be interested to know why we do though.

Anyone considering using this in the future, I'd recommend it. Left at 8.50 and arrived in Gosforth about 9.25 so was at the front of the queue for entry. Plenty of time to get breakfast in the High Street after nabbing a good spot. Left at 6.15 ish and was back at Riverside by 6.45.

£6. I was going to do my usual drive to Heworth and Metro in but there was a closure. Although not affecting the Heworth - Gosforth section, I couldn't be arsed taking into consideration the potential disruptions caused by the wind yesterday.

overtook a bus on the A1M on the way home. Really enjoyed today, another enjoyable trip to Gosforth and good craic
