I saw them before all the members were born.Going to see <insert latest cool popular beat combo> soon. They're the best ever. They blew <insert massively established band> off the stage at < insert obscure venue> in < before anyone else heard of this band>.
Really wanted to go to that but was working. Is he doing any more gigs?
The Grove's bar is still infuriatingly slow, the clientele at the front of the stage left gaps, meaning everyone at the back was squished, and had a load of people stood on the steps. Anyway...
The thread is a winner.Cheers.
Quite full life, could do with less to be honest.
Attempt?The thread is a winner.
Acknowledging you may have been attempting humour don't bring it down

ridiculous to have martha on first, so crammed in nobody was moving at the back so i walked into a wall once in the main doors, far too sweaty so went and sat in the garden and there were quite a few glum looing people clearly in the same situation. then when cheekface came on the place emptied and it has half full from the middle of the room and going backwards kind of empty.'kin hell, Martha and Cheekface was a warm one. The collective sweat left a thin layer of moisture on the floor, which made it slippy

Martha were great, short set but played the hits (and came out to Ready To Go)
Cheekface were okay (B52s / Talking Heads / Parquet Courts / Bug Club / abracadabra). Monotone in voice, yet sweet, upbeat in sound. A lot of that American "I want to be your friend" energy.
Just looked for alter bridge, £140 for some seated ticketsJust booked Alter Bridge for Feb.
Next up is Nik Kershaw and Katrina (of and the waves) at South Shields. They do get some decent bands on in the summer mind.
Have you tried AXS? seem cheaper than Ticketrobbers!Just looked for alter bridge, £140 for some seated tickets
