They'll be asked directly about this next week, they're talking shite. Quick text to members I know, not one of them has been contacted about this by the club.
We all know Bostock and North have/had a controlling interest in the Yorkshire 16.4 side, we know what they want and we know what they intend to bring to Durham with the 16.4.
They can sod off.

No word on the One Day Cup. So our model shows that if we were to win the Blast, we’d play 15 games in 7 weeks, which is more than they play now. Also, all that change and faf in the County Championship just to play 1 less game!

North and Bostock aren't interested in any of that. Bostock a former director of the Yorkshire 16.4 side and North was lurking about I assume coaching in his 16.4 tracksuit numerous times seen on Sky. Make no mistake these two will have the Saudi's here very soon. The pair of them need chasing from our club.

Exactly what I’ve said on Twitter, there’s no mention of the one day cup at all.
But I think we all know the feelings towards that competition.
Thought there was uproar at Lancashire from the members about it.
When they refer to speaking to members, do they just mean conversations they can make up in their head I agree with the blast changes mind, similar to MLB

No mention of the early starts and late finishes to CC season. Cooler weather in April is a big factor in low attendances.
No mention of 50 over cricket.
No mention, naturally, of the huge elephant in the room which is the 16.4. Takes up a big chunk of the season and is the sole reason for fixture congestion and fatigue amongst players the last few years. Bostock & co (and I think this is why Lloyd is there) will insist it is this tournament which is now English cricket's cash cow. Test cricket still subsidises counties which is only right because it is the counties which produce the players, not franchises.
In addition, it's sheer stupidly to complain about declining attendances in the Blast when this is an obvious side effect of the Hundred and too much cricket on offer to the fan base/ market. Let the international players play in the Blast and it would be more successful.
Unfortunately we'll all be ignored.
