I don’t recall us ever having won this competition, despite seemingly getting to the finals day pretty regularly.

We did in our double header against Notts earlier in May. They had McCann in their XI and we had Lees, Clark, Ackers, Robinson, Rhodes, De Leede, Sowter, and Parky in ours.
But they were friendlies not league fixtures. In the spirit of the game surely your team should be composed mainly of recognised 2nd teamers.

They were the Group stages of the 2nd XI T20 Trophy.
Weren't on the fixture list on archive.
Hannon-Dolby, Bamber and Ali are mainstays are regulars in their 11st team attack. 2nd team regulars would have to be omitted from what should have been the highlight of their season to accommodate them
1st not 11st

Sorry but I haven't a clue what you are on about.

It was in the 2025 Membership Book as a T20 Trophy North Group fixture on May 28 , its on the NVP Cricket archive for May 28 and I was at the game on May 28 and was reliably informed by some chap called Lees that it wasn't a friendly.

Fair few of the players playing for Durham 2s today have played CC for the county - not an irregular occurrence especially when not 1st team T20 regulars to be rolling out in a 2s competition. Keeps the levels high imo so good for the game.

Does anyone have any insight on Bushnell - is he back on the books/am I wrong in thinking his contract had expired? Seems to have been a regular these past few weeks on the 2nd team line up.
