Only Lancs,Northants and ourselves can get 36 points(Lancs can get 40)
So yes a No Result and win against Northants would get us a home QF(on 34 points) and likely 2nd place and playing Hampshire.
As Hampshire NRR is f***ing huge we really want to finish 1st and play Kent/Glamorgan/Sussex/Gloucs if we want to make finals day.
A no result and lose to Northants we'd have to be lucky as fuck to get 4th.

The best we can now get is 34 points and 2nd place(unless Lancs lose last two games)
Worst case scenario if we lose to Northants. So basically win or we could be fucked.

Warks 32 Points
Notts 32 points
Leics 30 points(could overake us on NRR depending on our respective games although unlikely)
Durham 30 points
Worcs 24 points
Yorkshire 16 points
Derbys 16 points
The fluke best case scenario if we lose to Northants and games go our way. Really need Notts to lose to Worcs on Thursday!!!

Hampshire could well be without Dawson - who is quite important to them, they’ll still be a tough test like.
Regarding the qualification, a couple of the chasing pack have to play each other, but my head hurt trying to work out how we’d get through without any further points - our NRR is far better than those behind though.

I'll try explain better than the above. If we definitely lose on Friday
If Notts lose on Thursday to Worcs. Then we need one of Warks/Leics to lose on Friday. Although if both win we can still go through on NRR over Leics
If Notts beat Worcs on Thursday. Then we need Notts to lose on Friday as well as needing one of Warks/Leics to lose
If Notts win both games. Then we need Warks to lose and either Leics to lose or not overtake us on NRR if they win.
But all of them outcomes will see us 3rd or 4th and playing Somerset or Surrey away where we will get smashed.
So SIMPLY beat Northants and we get a home QF. Most likely finishing 2nd behind Lancs, playing 3rd place in south group which will be Hampshire. Yes good shout on Dawson who will be playing white ball probably for England!

Nah no result may not be enough as Notts and Warks could overtake us on NRR in that event.
Won't also be a no result cos we should have 21 degrees during match.
Just win and fuck all the other permutations, but when it comes to Durham in T20 fearing the worst is normal

Nope.
It is pretty bad from the club and a change from only a few years ago where T20 season ticket holders got money back if a minimum number of overs weren't bowled.
