It's because the ball was going down the slope and Pope was hit on the knee roll front leg.

Tricky one. Root will often be exposed to the new one and always liked your best batsman at 4.

It's the old fouling the striker in the penalty area philosophy for me. He gave them the chance from indifferent batting.

Really there are a lot of holes in the this team Crawley, Pope, the seam bowling sub standard spinner.

The form of Stokes with the bat. You only really trust 4 of the batting unit and the bowling is a massive issue.
