stay up. we've already schooled them over the years by smashing them 6 on the spin. If we lost one and drew one but stayed up i'd take that now.

I just hope folk have a sense of realism when it comes to derby day in general.

Like the FA cup game, I told my lad (his 1st derby) that we need to be at our best, and they need to have a stinker. Point was proven. We were shit, they didn't get out of 2nd gear, and the occasion got to too many of ours.

Nothing has changed. Champions League / established Premier League squad v newly promoted with new additions. On paper there should only be 1 winner every time.

Concentrate on getting ourselves enough points to hopefully stay up, then see if we can do a bit better the following year, and repeat. Don't get me wrong, chuck a derby win in along the way and I'll be ecstatic, but I'm not going to lose sleep over any defeats to those lot.
