Simon Adingra 🇨🇮 Signed!

Would rather a team of British players then a load of foreigners
Dear me. Do people still have such attitudes?

I would rather we have good players, wherever they come from.
I'm sort of with @safcb88 (though god I hope he's 37 years old) in that it means more if your players are local and grew up supporting the club.

I'd rather have a midfield of Neil and Henderson because they're our guys.

Once they're not fans, I don't care that much if they're from Kent or Kenya like. Both means they're essentially mercenaries.
So by your reckoning Charlie Hurley and Luke O9 are just mercenaries, right? Seriously mate. Think.

It would never happen but I'd love to see a first 11 from the academy play for us .

We've done really well in recent years going down the academy route and whilst we have to be ruthless it will be a bit shit if we totally abandon that route
It's been great seeing the local lads develop and play a massive part in getting us promoted, one of favourite times ever as a Safc fan. The Premier League means we will probably have to leave that behind which is a shame, but nothing stays the same for ever and as they say, the only constant is change. I hope the bulk of last years team still get some serious minutes on the pitch this season (which may be difficult looking at our exciting new signings!)

Agree mate. And I think they'll all have a part to play which I'm happy about.
