England v India - Third Test, 10/07

You could, easily. Wouldn’t be the greatest though, cos that’s Jimmy 👍

FWIW

My top however many in order of personal preference:
Jimmy
Walsh
Waqar
Flintoff
Simon Jones
Gough
McGrath
Hoggard
Lee
Ambrose
Harmison
Pollock
Donald
Steyn
Rabada

Just my personal favourite as stated, so don’t come at me.
Not bad but lillee and Thompson with the likes of Marshall, Mikey, Garner would be added in my list and a few others
Not halfway through the scheduled overs for the day on the stroke of tea.
It’s horrendous

Before my time but absolutely yes fair enough mate.
The over rate is a farce. It’s both sides and fines won’t work. Only way to solve it is force them to play 90. Going off at 6.30 in perfect conditions is ridiculous.

Two sessions of 21 or so overs

England will get docked points but will india ?

I’m sure there was a new law that captains got a warning over slow over rates and a second one, would bring a 1 game ban

It appears that’s been forgotten

Said it earlier , we will walk off at 630 with at least 15 overs shy in perfect playing conditions

Hoggard? I've tidied your list a bit for you.

We haven't even talked about the quicks from the 60's and 70's. Loads of all timers from that era too.

Angus Fraser was a good honest bowler

Early botham was seriously fast

Bob Willis took over 300 wickets

For consistency I enjoyed Mike Hendrick

Gladstone small was another on his day top notch

Tbf he’s only in for 05 Ashes tbh same as Jones and Harmison, but he was underrated. Took loads of wickets, important ones too and was a crucial member of that 4 man attack.

Wasim is a good addition and I considered putting him in but I’m biased against left arm seamers. Dont know why.

Angus Fraser? Ha'way, one of the best ever? May as well chuck in Andy Caddick and Alan Mullally then.

That pic comes out every year with Athers in tiny white shorts

I loved Dinesh reaction about gold and he was searching for dirt but had none in his pocket

Brilliant   He’s got Athers now

Not saying he’s the best ever , just a player who was steady and consistent, a good honest bowler
I remember he carried the attack through one West Indies tour , 1998 I think the abandoned test at Sabina Park series. What didn’t help Angus though was he always looked like he was blowing out of his backside half way through his second over

I always liked Chaminda Vaas. Not an all timer but probably Sri Lanka's best seamer. Malinga doesn't get a look in with me either, not with his slingy action.

Not too bad. I'd swap Hoggard out for Reddy though. And Bumsy gotta be in.
