Eh?Never said that at all. It was said wages would be an issue and he would play for buttons. He just wanted out of Saudi and to come home. I'm sure a vast bulk of his Saudi wages bought out his contract so he could leave.
Rubbish being spouted he would play for nothing. not aimed at you mate
Ah I got it dcl0scsyRubbish being spouted he would play for nothing. not aimed at you mate
Hendonson is very dedicated and competitive, he would not be happy on the bench. Last season he started 21 of 28 games and was subbed in for the 7 he never started. Europa League he started 13 of 15. My Dutch mate loved him I will add. What is the obsession with this place and former players coming back and coaching here? Absolutely lifting reason to sign an over the hill player who probably wanted top wage. I'd rather we used it to sign a player who would push to start every game not sit on the bench
Shame they are gannin down back where they belong like.Hendonson is very dedicated and competitive, he would not be happy on the bench. Last season he started 21 of 28 games and was subbed in for the 7 he never started. Europa League he started 13 of 15. My Dutch mate loved him I will add.
His league stats are class, look at the percentiles.

Europa League stats are very good too, so he can still do it at a high level

Brentford have got a very good player for about 7-8 million (my estimate based on current wages and signing on fee), not a bad fee when they'll get 2 seasons out of him.
If Jordan Henderson, after the career he's enjoyed, hasn't made so much money, and invested/been advised how to maximise his wealth, so that he's created enough cash to provide for him, his children and generational wealth that will keeps his grandkids comfortable than he must thicker than a dockers butty. Millions a year in wages alone for the last 10+yrs at least? That's without all his additional revenue streams. No I’m not. You’re creating a daft argument to hide the fact that you would do it. The bloke was looking at the end of his career and beyond that with no certain income. You’d have done exactly the same
He wanted to come last summer, we messed him about he went to Ajax. Even if KS came out in the press and said we were 100% interested, there was only a slim chance it would ever happen. The relationship was already soured.
I wouldn't do it. You don't speak for me just cos you personally would sell yourself for money.Correct, everyone would do it. A years work to give you all the money you would ever need.
Everything's a daft opinion or behaviour if he wouldn't do it himself man, didn't you know? Why is it a "daft" argument, just because it disagrees with yours man?
He was wealthy beyond wealthy before he left Scouseland.
He didn't need the money, and he pissed all over every principle he had stood for by going.
I would not have done the same in his position.
Don't judge everyone by your own questionable standards.
How do those stats compare to Norgaard?Hendonson is very dedicated and competitive, he would not be happy on the bench. Last season he started 21 of 28 games and was subbed in for the 7 he never started. Europa League he started 13 of 15. My Dutch mate loved him I will add.

It was heavily reported when he left Saudi that he wouldn't come to the UK for tax reasons.Never said that at all. It was said wages would be an issue and he would play for buttons. He just wanted out of Saudi and to come home. I'm sure a vast bulk of his Saudi wages bought out his contract so he could leave.
He should buy Ferryhill then.If Jordan Henderson, after the career he's enjoyed, hasn't made so much money, and invested/been advised how to maximise his wealth, so that he's created enough cash to provide for him, his children and generational wealth that will keeps his grandkids comfortable than he must thicker than a dockers butty. Ya mean he asked for too much £££££He wanted to come last summer, we messed him about he went to Ajax. Even if KS came out in the press and said we were 100% interested, there was only a slim chance it would ever happen. The relationship was already soured.
Agreed but wealth is subjective. Plenty end up bankrupt. If Jordan Henderson, after the career he's enjoyed, hasn't made so much money, and invested/been advised how to maximise his wealth, so that he's created enough cash to provide for him, his children and generational wealth that will keeps his grandkids comfortable than he must thicker than a dockers butty. Oh well if the papers say it then it must be true. I mean it’s not as if it was heavily reported we were signing him this summer or anything. It was heavily reported when he left Saudi that he wouldn't come to the UK for tax reasons.
