Funny reading Sunderland's forum reading our forum. They're not convinced because of the comments coming from Brighton fans. We really have become a bunch of spoilt Premier League types. 😂

For any reading this:
He's 23;
Has played sixty times in the EPL;
Has also had a couple of seasons of Europa League experience;
Has scored 8 EPL goals;
Two years ago he won the AFCON, was MotM in the final and young player of the tournament.

He's been behind Mitoma in his best position. More than half of his appearances have been from the bench and about half out of position on the right. Don't worry yourself, you've got a diamond for a reasonable fee by the league's standards. He had a relatively disappointing time last year playing only 1411 minutes although fit all year. During that time he scored 5 and had 2 assists in all competitions. How would you be reacting had you just paid the same for Omari Hutchinson: Record last year - 2,605 minutes, 3 goals and 2 assists?

If he helps you stay up, all good. If not, I'd expect you to make a profit on him.

Time will tell if it’s a bad idea but it’s a huge gamble and I’m surprised how many people arent bothered. We’ll be missing every player we’ve added to the squad up to now. 2 centre midfielders and 2 wingers (potentially). We aren’t signing more players in those positions so it’s likely we’ll be relying on last seasons squad against some good teams and in a huge 6 pointer vs Leeds. It’s a huge factor. Noticed on Reddit that fans of other clubs are saying the same thing. It’s not being negative for the sake of it.

well that was my point. i'm not sure what yours is

obviously will get game time but realistically he's not going to be a regular injuries and AFCON aside. as surely the 'centre of midfield' will be Diarra and Sadiki
