Carse playing seems like madness considering he bowled 36 overs in the last game and looked injured.

Only respite he’ll probably get at Lords is that it can’t possibly be as flat as the first two pitches.
 
On Crawley, I can totally see why they went with him. And also why they have stuck with him. But it’s got to the point where it simply doesn’t work, and feels stubborn for the sake of it

Ditto Bashir

For this test I would have picked Cook. Someone who can bowl to a plan and bowl many overs. He’s probably not the long term answer but horses for courses and that
 
I wonder what the late great RGD Willis would have said about Crawley, Bashir and Woakes inclusion yet again.
Also Ben’s questionable captaincy and current form.
I think we all know.
What a miss Bobs honesty is.
 
Given the issues with knocking them over and the rece t hype I reckon Archer will likely be in. Other than that I wouldn't be too surprised if there were no other changes.
 
Awful team that mind, sub standard spinner Woakes been under 80mph most of the time.

Clear as day Carse is struggling with his feet already and a bowler with 1st class game in 4 years.

Hope they do well but can see us getting smash around the park again.

Agreed on all of that Stokes is currently been selected on the fact he’s captain offered nothing with the bat and not bowling much.

I agree with you there's no perfect solution. For me i would go with:

Leach for Bashir - he's just better
Bethall for Crawley - A risk of course but I think Crawley must go and not for the next cab on the rank county plodder.

I pretty much agree with the rest - Woakes has an incredible record at lords and the management team believe Carse is fit. Who are we to argue.

I dont think its a great bowling attack but there's not much around.

Would have not had Bashir in the squad for a start so I can’t pick the team I would have picked. But his constant picking is a joke.

Woakes is finished abc was so obvious that Carse is n pain already.

But McCullum has picked rubbish in this squad with the like of Overton but literally any spinner is better the Bashir.

But same as Crawley no matter how badly they perform they get picked.
