Calvert-Lewin (discussion on transfer)

Hope we are not in for him.....tbh i would rather we went back for Ross Stewart if we are after an injury prone striker ( which im sure we wont be )

While I think we could do with a strong forward who could hold the ball up, I don’t think this lad is the one for us.

(Attitude/availability wise rather than ability).

Plus - one of our biggest strengths last season was our team spirit. I’m not sure show well that would hold up if our biggest earner is unavailable for big chunks of the season - particularly as it’s going to be tough going. The memories of Rodwell are still too vivid.

What are they drinking round Old Trafford?
Guarenteed they think meh he's free, and if we can keep him fit if he's on 5m a year he'd be worth it, forgetting the elephant in the room of he can't be relied on the be fit and he's had 2 half decent scoring seasons in years😄

The Mags are apparently in for him again. Will be hilarious to see the gravy boiling over if this is the standard of their transfer window.

If they think thats good business then no wonder theyre being taken the piss out of. They probably think they can get him scoring then sell him for a fee after a season or two
