Wetherspoons are gradually selling (or closing) the older style pubs. Especially if there are more modern ones in the same towns etc. Unfortunately The William Jameson is one of those pubs and is going to be put up for sale. Not sure it's official yet, but it will be soon. Not sure how long the process takes or what happens to the staff.

That's not true mind, there's been plenty examples where the newer one has gone over the older one ie. Lambton Worm. I'd imagine it's more about whether they make money and the Cooper Rose and William Jameson are two very different pubs.

Kids meals come on white plates as they're not heated plates. Saying that, they wouldn't have known they were for kids.

Panic on today..daughter works for them. Microwave broke down at 11am. Luckily the back up one was used but many complaints as only 650w power compared to 800w power. The amount of complaints and food been returned due to undercooking nearly made her quit, yes works the bar and has to chuck the frozen food in the microwave as well... Luckily manager returned from Argos within half an hour with decent microwave and things returned to normal...

Oh yummy yum frozen microwaved meals and still people it's actually cooked and they proper kitchens amazes me.

People think the new bridge vaults is too far from town so that's sounds like outer hebrides to roker

Work for one. I just don’t have enough time in my week, month or year to go out and do something that is relaxing and pleasurable. I can’t seem to find the free time to do anything. Work dominates my life. It’s is the most important thing in my life. It’s the one thing I seem to do more of than anything else. Besides, the only reason why we work to live is so that we can live to work.

Secondly, it’s how the dynamic of our relationship has panned out. She’s the one who enjoys herself and I get to hear all the fascinating stories. Last time I went out with her for a meal was June 8. True she has been away in Spain for most of June with most of the family scattering the ashes of her stepdad and didn’t come back till June 30. But then she has that show with her friend I think it was. So it’s just not been possible for her to find the time to do anything with me. She has too much going on with other people to have the opportunity to do something with me.

We did have arranged for yesterday the new Jurassic World movie with her mum to celebrate my birthday and then a meal at Mambos because her sister in law works there but I spend most of the day with my dad who has fallen and hurt himself.

I’d like to go out and do something but it’s just not possible.

Spoons in Lymington is easily the poshest spoons in the country.
Once a town which was too posh for Argos (the locals protested to stop Argos opening a branch there) and a town with pubs at London prices (£7 plus is common) spoons has an upmarket feel and i never see pissed people during the day in there
