Petrovic

No. 2 years of your prime life. IF you are skint and done it i could sort of understand, but he is sacrificing 2 years of his life where he could live like a millionaire comfortably without the move. Let's bookmark this to see if he can see out the 2 years as many many haven't and i don't blame any of them (Apart from deciding to go out there in the 1st instance)
Yep, sitting in a tent for a couple of years will most likely be hellish. As you say, he could have earned a very decent salary elsewhere and still set his family up nicely, and probably with better opportunities if he chose to move/moved on in a couple of years.

Just watched 9min compilation for Youtube Utd.

Clearly a great shot stopper but I'm not going to be too gutted if we miss out, keeps hold of it maybe 4 times in all that, letting far too much ricochet back into the danger area for me.

 Eh ?
One went in the top corner and the other was buried perfectly the bottom corner.

Buried? It was closer to a daisy cutter! Keeper suspect for me.
Ridiculous take

It isn't. I thought at the time the keeper could have done better and seeing the replays later confirmed that. He was either slow to react, too short or had t-rex arms.

It was the most perfectly placed shot I think I’ve ever seen and Watson brilliantly used their player as a screen and took it incredibly early. Better keepers than Cooper would have been caught out. That said if he was three inches taller with correspondingly longer arms he might have just flicked it on to the post.

It was a cracking finish, I don’t want to do Watson a disservice. I just think the keeper could have done better.

Patterson made an excellent save from Moore early on, but Cooper couldn't replicate him at the end.

Cooper did look good last season but does look small he can’t be much over 6ft. I question if a bigger goalkeeper saves Watsons winner. You have to be a pretty special goalkeeper to play in the prem without being a min of 6,3.

If we're paying several millions for a keeper (and I'm presuming it would take 10m+ to make Sheff Utd tempted to sell) then he needs to be better than Patto. Cooper IMO is the same sort of level - will he/won't he adapt to the PL. There's got to be better out there.

He's better than patto like

If you mean the Watson goal that's harsh also nothing is based on one game
As I said I gave not taken particular notice of him accept the final so bow to your greater knowledge.
He did little of note and his distribution was no better nor worse than Patterson . Patterson was rightly deemed MOM , Cooper was not .
My main concern is why spend 10 -15M on him as a replacement for Patterson when the advantage gained is so small.
