Calvert-Lewin (discussion on transfer)

Averages 28-29 games per season over last 8 seasons which is slightly surprising as I thought he was crocked more.
How many of them are sub appearances working his way back to fitness?
Time on the pitch per appearance is around 68 mins so the equivalent of 21 full appearances a season.

The last 4 seasons he's averaged 23 appearances which is the equivalent of 17 full games a season.

He's scored a goal every 275 mins on the pitch which is 1 every 4 appearances for him.

Even if this was a rumour, rather than Jenas talking shite a big no ta!

You just don’t like man bags or man buns do ya.

He's clearly a good standard player. He's got a physical presence and can score goals in the Premier League. He's played and scored for England and is only 28. If he could get a decent level of fitness he'd be a massive asset to us both in terms of his ability and his experience. I also think he's got a pretty good attitude. The obvious main concern is fitness and whether he's on a career ending decline. So, we would sign him with our fingers crossed. The negativity on here is only to be expected.

Lots of talk around Merseyside of his agent being in talks with Leeds and Sunderland.

Could see him off to somewhere in Italy.

Not his biggest fan but seems a nice lad and not long started a family although he did try run his contract down which has backfired on him as the new owners dont want to offer him a new deal.

All the best DCL.

Echo reckons it is between us and Leeds for Calvert Lewin. In all fairness, I think we should let Leeds have this one.😉

Didnt realise I was ITK.

Pay as you play contract for coming season would be a no brainer and when he proves he can stay fit, then maybe offer a longer term contract. If he wears that skirt and handbag though OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

This idea gets talked about often on here but how often do we see it happening? No way a 28-year-old established PL player agrees to that. He'd probably rather drop down to the Championship than do that.
