Pop Recs - Supporting Local Gigs

its true though. they talk about community shit but the local community has zero interest in shit 3 quid coffees and vegan food.
I go to gigs in Newcastle, Boro, York, Hartlepool, Liverpool, Whitley Bay. Stanhope this weekend. I don’t want to live in any of them places. However, it’s great to have a venue within walking distance of my house.

People who frequent coffee shops (not my thing) like it & vegans probably like the food. Great that they’re catering for people with different tastes to me.

Without pop recs there'd be no vaux that has taken over an abanonded building, in place of pop recs would have been waste land as the buildings they took on were some of the oldest in Sunderland but condemned.

Go down for one their nights and see how this place draws people in from all over the region. They've done a fantastic job.
An absolute embarrassment of a poster. Up there with @Starman (must be banned again as I can't tag him) levels.
He must have you blocked
Pop Recs is a fantastic venue for our city both for music and community events.

It's one of the main factors of how Sunderland got music city status.

Sony's cafe is very popular and a great chill out place.

We're lucky to have it.
Aye. Our lasses mam and dad go there a lot and tbh aren't the target demographic, they're not vegans or young but absolutely love the food.

Is there a quicker way of displaying no understanding of a subject matter, by referring to something as “woke”, especially if it’s not appreciated by the user?
Is the term “woke” a modern placeholder, for things some people don’t agree with?
It really seems lacking context and explanation
