Petrovic

I don’t think any of Chelsea keepers are any good mate. They have signed 6 or 7 the last couple of seasons and their manager tried 3 this season.

With how poor Sanchez has been any good keeper could have claimed their number 1 spot by now. Would be surprised if they don’t look for a number 1 this summer.
He was on loan at Strasbourg season gone and got their player of the year?

Defending corners is a great example

When you see the very best keepers (Alisson for example), they come for most crosses within 6/7 yards of the goal

The lesser keepers are rooted to their line
I don't even think the top keepers do it as often as you think tbh. With set piece coaches coming up with all sorts and the balls moving all over the place the top keepers know what balls to come for and what not to. Its become very hard

I can only comment when I saw him for Chelsea mate. Never saw any of his performances there. If he signs get
My support like anyone pulls on our shirt. But think it would represent a risk with what we have to spend if the fee is the quoted 25 million v other recent signings for keepers in the premier league.

Sunderland, Aston Villa and Bournemouth are interested in signing the Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.

The Serb, 25, returned to Chelsea this summer after an impressive loan in Ligue 1 with Strasbourg, where he was voted the club’s player of the season.

However, he was not included in Enzo Maresca’s squad for the Club World Cup in the United States and is expected to leave Stamford Bridge during this transfer window.

Sunderland have contacted Chelsea about Petrovic but are yet to make a formal bid, although discussions are ongoing. Petrovic has attracted interest from a number of clubs across Europe. Villa are monitoring his situation, amid uncertainty about the future of their No1 Emiliano Martinez, while Bournemouth are considering Petrovic among a number of options as they seek a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, who returned to Chelsea after a season-long loan and has now signed for Arsenal.

Sunderland have already signed the midfielder Habib Diarra from Strasbourg as they prepare to return to the Premier League under Regis Le Bris.

I think that puts us ahead. Villa won’t buy until Martinez goes.

Bournemouth have many options.

If we move fast and make him feel wanted it could happen

The journalist who broke it is usually pretty reliable. I think weve got a solid chance.

Why do Chelsea want to sell him? He's better than Sanchez surely?
They've that many players they probably forgot they had him. The way they do business is mental, throw money at signing players hope some of it sticks and if not just ship them out. Think any player could be shipped out at any time, they're just commodities. Just a revolving door of players who don't get a chance to build connections with the fans or community.
