I'm sure if you have a look at his Bristol City goals you'll see some headers in there. I have no knowledge of his penalty record.

Aye I remember that chance, think it clipped the bar and went over if memory serves.

Nope, nowhere near, a couple of yards over Patto's head in the middle of the goal.

Without his penalties his goalscoring record would look very average.

You've got to love the spin/bollocks you read on here....

Conway scored the same amount of goals as Isidor last season, but he did it playing 10 less games than your striker. Conway's goal conversion was 22%, Isidor was 13%

Does this mean that you don't rate Isidor as well??

No tap in goals for Isidor… all Hollywood/ goal of the season / match winning finishes …..

Conway scored 2 penalties which are a 75% conversion rate. Isidor missed 2.

Isidor had some purple patches during the season but overall I think he and us were a bit disappointed with his goal return. That's why Mayenda started some games and Isidor was on the bench.

I've just watched the highlights (to check I'm not inventing things) and it 100% hits the bar! Never thought I'd end up fighting his corner but here we are! I'm also sat next to a Boro fan who reckons he's decent in the air.

The proof will be in the pudding next season (if he's still there). Like I say he's got a manager now that should play to what I perceive to be his strengths, clearly you don't :)

Same, it did!

Still an awful miss, he should have been looking to get over it and power it towards the bottom corner. Instead he lazily nodded it straight at the keeper. I think Patto saves it of it's on target.

Remind us which division each are playing in next season?
 
These are needing a midfielder. Aleksic, Browne, Matete and Ekwah absolutely walk into their midfield. Could help them out with some loans?

How come the Boro fans aren’t on chatting about the footy? They loved it when we had Beale as well as when we were in league 1

Yep a few of them might get the smogs promoted.
 
I like to see all the smaller north east clubs do well, maximises local interest in the sport and feeds through to the big clubs ultimately. It’s better for us if the likes of Darlington, Hartlepool and Middlesbrough are doing well at their level.
