Imagine if we can send any 3 from Wolves, Everton, palace Bournemouth or Brentford down how sweet that would?

I come on here cause I’m from Teeside, have loads of friends who are Mackems and I love football. I like to hear reasoned debate - but I’m a Leeds fan first and foremost and I can’t stand reading shite about my club although fully accepting our many, many shortfalls and the fact that a % of fans of any club are morons

Check my posting history and you will see that I never gloated when we won last season and I also wished you the best for the playoffs.

I quite like this site (it’s also very intuitive to use) but don’t kid yourself that it isn’t full of tits posting shit in much the same way other clubs forums do

In answer to your question about who is pL quality if the current squad. I’d probably say Bogle, Ampadu, Roden, James and possible Ramazani. Of course they all need better players around them otherwise their weaknesses will be exploited. You also forget we just had 3 seasons in the prem and spent 2 of them getting hammered. I know what to expect and I know the PL is even stronger this time around

I’m sure the tits will jump on this post and say how shit Bogle is or some other toss but I’m sure you can appreciate I am big enough and ugly enough to call out any shit where I see it..Echo chambers are incredibly boring IMO

I'd agree that you do have more EPL ready players and that you deserved to win the league, but using another club's fans forum and then calling us "tits" and "bellends" is bang out of order. Likewise getting into arguments about who's bigger or better is not for you to comment on here.

We are biased and have rose tinted glasses, like all club's, but why not just stick those threads that are less partisan? Pretend your an away supporter sat in the home end.
 
This is my take. How many of us actually believe anything the media and press say? They have been known all over the world for for years for just writing sensational, attention capturing words which they think people will be drawn to and be captivated by therefore encouraging others to buy their papers. But it is funny. One article that states any amount of fact and truth and that can change irrevocably your opinion. Plus it can change feeling too. Signings is an extreme example. When talking about signings the press can have an extraordinary influence on the state of mind of a football supporter if you find out just one article about a player coming to your club is true I think. It can make us feel so much more positive and hopeful. Football fans need good players being close to signing to feel good. Good players change fortunes.

Lately we have been streets ahead of Leeds United in that respect. We were prepared to offer £5m more than they did for Diarra. So long as you budget accordingly you can have expensive players. What Forest did was ridiculous. Signing a gazillion players and taking a points deduction!! Jesus wept! What were they thinking the idiots! A few hand selected quality players could have done what Forest have done without the need to spend as much as they did or incur a points deduction. And what with Reinaldo coming and Bulka possibly close, our signings have not only been more positive but more ambitious than theirs. I am praying we get Henderson and this Lauriente. That side alone could keep us up with games to spare.
 
Leeds are a big club. Sunderland are a big club (bigger ;))

As both squads currently stand we’d very likely both go straight back down. Down to recruitment this summer and it already seems to be

Sunderland 2-0 Leeds ;)

Thanks. So nothing definitive, just something that trawls the internet and comes back with no real stats. I'm still awaiting your response to your biggest ever crowd (I'll give you a clue, it was was against Sunderland and a high proportion was Sunderland supporters). It's seventeen thousand less than Sunderland's biggest ever crowd and about eleven thousand less than either clubs biggest post-war crowd. I'm back to ignoring your posts because you are showing yourself to being a needy individual desperately trying to gain some importance through the football club you support. Honestly, you are not a better person because of the club you support.
