In 2010, ex-F1 and IndyCar engineer Tony Brown acquired Marcos Cars, Marcos Engineering, and the brand. With support from the Marcos Owners Club, the new company developed the mid-engined Spirit 220 prototype. Jem Marsh asked to be a technical advisor and assisted Tony. Tony then began laying the foundations for global growth and the renaissance of the Marcos brand. Now partnered with entrepreneur William Storey, Marcos has secured new investment and formed ambitious plans involving top automotive names.
