According to BBC Gossip, Man City have turned down a bid of £6.5m from Hoffenheim for Callum Doyle.

After his season with us, I thought he looked good. He's had a couple of seasons since on loan at Leicester and Norwich.

Not much Premier League experience, but would you go back for him?

Their might be a player at Lyon that fits the requirements unfortunately he'd probably be very expensive. RLB, Speakman and the scouts will no doubt already have players in mind for every position.

Don’t need a partner for Ballard, we need someone better than him. Two play off games of winning headers don’t change him regressing and struggling in the Championship for 18 month.

Definitely not. He's way below the standard we require, he can barely hold his own in the Championship. He's a decent footballer but a poor defender.

Ipswich bought the cream of the Championship and it didn't work. Not sure why anyone would think buying players worse that that would!
