Durham v Sussex (h) C.C.

Disappointing that there's no agreement to set up a declaration, say 300 off 50 overs.

Surely they will want Archer and Robinson to have another bowl?

Well our next 3 games are using the Kookaburra

@Aidan11 think I said it was just 2 the other day.

So away to Surrey, away to Somerset and home to Surrey.

In some respects it might be a good thing that we’ll get the ‘proper’ ball back for more winnable fixtures. Wouldn’t be upset if it rained for two and a half days down at Surrey next week.
Tea, however if you want to leave now and do something else this afternoon then go now lol

Have you ever been to a day of county cricket?

Left at lunch. If we were to win the game, we’d have needed to take 3/4 wickets before lunch. The kookaburra ball is a waste of time. Why can’t they use it in the India series in 1 or 2 tests. What is the actual point of it?

Just 31 degrees mate

Still here (sat in front of the dressing room). 17 runs in the first hour set the tone. Slightly surprised Sussex haven't tried to push on. Days like today make the argument that you get too many points for a draw. The Kookaburra experiment I'm at an absolute loss with, because these players won't be going to Australia. It's absolutely crap and does County Cricket absolutely no favours at all. I'll be staying until the end, as the weather is pleasant but dear me with the reduction inevitable next season, it's just going to drive people away. Not a good advert this for the game it's very poor

There are 36 in the County Durham lower plus a bloke standing at the back.
Would have been 37 but @GordonMuchallNo1Fan has been made to wait by a steward for the last 15 mins while the oyster catchers make their way along the exit between the Co Dirham and the Family Stand.

I fear that's the general idea as far as knackers like Strauss are concerned.
