Sunderland AFC U21s

What i don't get is loads have been streamed this season at the same time as a PL game, but we weren't allowed too for many of them
I didn’t really understand the rule anyway, for such a low target audience. The same amount of people would still watch Monday Night Football if we were playing an U21 team on a Monday night.

Under-21 squad members Ben Crompton, Cuba Mitchell, Caden Kelly, and Kelechi Chibueze will leave the Club this summer, with second-year scholars Aaron Chung and Daniel Parker also departing the Academy of Light.

Ben Middlemas, Oliver Bainbridge, Marshall Burke, and Daniel Cameron have agreed one-year extensions, with Ethan Moore and Timur Tutierov also offered new terms following the end of their respective contracts.

Hope all the released lads get picked up by decent clubs

Really pleased with that. Both great development competitions. Wish we'd also enter the Durham Challenge Cup aswell as that another way to get the lads playing against men
Yeah I agree. The mags do in the Northumberland one and I think boro do in the north riding

They do play against men in behinds closed doors, Hartlepool being the main one.

Is this in the Durham Challenge Cup with a trophy up for grabs?

Is this against poor opposition where they win 6/7/8/9-0 with the risk of injury due to them being 5 steps ahead of the competition? If you were as knowledgable as you portray, the club stopped entering that competition for a few years due to players being seriously injured.
