Eng vs India - First Test - 20th-24th June

I agree but is it not the ICC who set the playing conditions so that they are the same across all tests ?
But that's the frustation it's the stupid regimented bollocks.

Use some common sense and stop depriving fans of overs. We've lost 45 overs this test.

They'll go off for light all the bloody time yet we've got perfect light and weather seeing as it's june and we've just had the bloody summer solstice.

The ICC don't give a fuck about fans man. So long as the Indians are bringing in the bucks will be all that matters.

Been a brilliant 4 days so far, proper test match cricket which has gone both ways.

Be a shame if it’s decided by the weather
Both teams deserve massive credit, in years gone by the high amount of runs scored in this game and the good wicket would have meant them been scored too slow thus meaning no chance of a result other than a draw.

Now we have a final day set brilliantly with all 3 results possible

😀It's set up for a thrilling final day because both teams have batted responsibly, mixing aggression and consolidating as the situation required. Possible because of an excellent cricket wicket.

9/4 England

6/5 India

Now if you are confident that a tie or weather related draw is completely out of the question , you can back both for a guaranteed profit

Not sure that was the case in India’s first innings or shots by Brook and Smith in our first innings.

At least that’s not how it was perceived on here at the time;)

Both teams have batted at a rate of well over 4 an over for the majority of the game thus meaning 3 results still possible.

Historically in test cricket with the high number of runs scored 3 results would not have been possible and it would have been drawn game.

Excellent advert for test cricket and excellent attacking intent has us where we are which is great for the game
