Boro thread

It must have been really exciting for you.
Strange though - after our many recent victories against Sunderland (home and away), we never felt the need to 'wave a corner flag around'.

Makes you wonder who sees it as a 'big' game.

Our head of football Kieran Scott wanted Edwards instead of Carrick but Carrick was Gibson's call.

This time Gibson has said to Scott let's go with your man.

I'm happy enough. 2 promotions on his CV and he has a very good working relationship with Scott.
I stood to make 55 pounds if you’d gone for Gary O’Neil. This is most disappointing 😔

I went into our Middlesbrough office today.
Got a few nibbles asking who they got opening day. They are not happy with this new manager , so I said it’s ok , big Mick Beale will get things sorted.

One tried to bring their Milk cup win in as a comparison to our day out. I said did you go Trafalgar and that after , he said no ours was at Cardiff. Oh right , not really the same is it then. Like a cup win from Temu in a way.

There is a theory called the grief cycle I think. DADA is the acronym
Everyone goes through
Disbelief ( Watson goal)
Anger ( full time realisation )
Depression ( current state)
Then finally
Acceptance.

I would say majority are in D for Depression ,

Wow, this one is really hurting.

Have you finally realised no one in Seaham (or Sunderland) cares about Boro?

You got more laughs with this post in all fairness, and I don't even think you were trying to be funny either were you.
