SOL expansion

It’s not at all. And you absolutely are no matter how you try to dress it up. I’ve been absolutely consistent. The club has plans to extend the stadium and improve the offering to fans and increase revenue. Whether it ever happens is another subject. I’ve never deviated.

I’ve also said the idea of renting hotels out, plonking a few boxes at the back and making people walk from the other side of the stadium and share toilets and bars with places that are already rammed is at best, daft.

Usually when people can’t comprehend simple things they just ramble on. I’m not saying this is happening here mind.

Yes. As nothing else makes sense.
Leeds increased their corporate offering without extending.

The people in charge, won't be extending the stadium . They might improve or increase corporate but, if we go down!! We will lose these new season tickets and have 6,000 empty seats. We haven't sold out season tickets yet.
Why say that as if it's a stumbling block? Have you looked at the stadium map? There's just over 500 available but it looks like they're all just single seats dotted about, some sections only have 1 seat for example. It's obvious sales are slow for now but apart from the last few singles I'd think it was a near sell out within days of release and there's still weeks to go before the new season kicks in.

How can you expect people to buy a single unless they're just going by themselves or willing to sit however far away from someone they know? If there were more seats available so groups of 2 or more together then it's a no brainer we'd be selling them no problem

Before Anfield was upgraded I went to a corporate do and it was in the radisson, miles away from anfield. They bussed us there and back. So they could nick the Hilton from Ellis.

Not at all, they added a row of boxes to their main stand by putting them on top of the existing. That could work in the PC
Do you honestly think that would work? What’s behind the boxes above?

This is another example of not thinking it through. You’re saying a box can be put on top of the others. This would mean removing the front of the PC, removing rows of seat and then building on top of the access that’s currently there for the for boxes.

The engineering for this would be off the charts for very little return.

People just aren’t thinking it through.

Why did it work at Leeds?

2 Tier stand in similar situation

You’re so blinded by increasing the capacity when the example I’ve given you would be very similar.

Putting another stand on east or south stand will be far simpler and more sensible than what you’re suggesting. The sol was engineered for it to be a very straightforward job.

Please explain the process for adding a row of boxes on top of the existing one?

I’m not blinded at all. I’m quite happy with capacity. I’m not happy with the offering and the state of the concourses and how small they are.

And I’ve said time and time again, a successful Sunderland then 47k or there about simply isn’t big enough.

An shite Sunderland then it is.

It’s also not up to scratch to compete for the very best concerts and events.

Those are the facts.

Jesus 😂

I‘ve given you an example where it has been done successfully.

The Jack Charlton stand had 1 row of boxes and they added another. The stand configuration is very similar.

47k has been too big for this club since 2001 and that is a fact.
