SOL expansion

Which is fine. But has he said work is starting in September?
Looking back I think he actually said next Summer. My full apology will have to wait until then, unless it happens earlier. Fingers crossed.
No i never said announcement this summer hes just making it up no idea why this is getting him so riled up it is really not that big deal
Sorry, mate. I misread that. Next summer isn't it, for the work to start?

Sorry for any confusion, mate. Hopefully the official announcement and planning permission goes in a bit before then.

You are getting all flustered and angry are you okay

I’m not, I want a better fan experience and the club to make more money so we can be competitive. Improving the SOL and it’s offering is the way to do that on top of being competitive in the top flight and selling players for a profit. I don’t see why fans don’t want the same tbh. In fact it’s just weird like.

That would mean better wider concourses, more exec boxes, more hospitality areas and a much better experience. It’s a by product of the extension. There’s just no other way to do it if they want the stadium to make money all year round.

To plan it isn’t. Even if it’s years away. The club wants more hospitality. That’s the driver.

Which would be added by adding a stand and additional hospitality areas. You would do all the crazy infrastructure stuff you suggest to put a row of boxes in. Taking the roof off and moving the stadium outwards for boxes is just mental like.
Where are those x millions coming from? Jobes transfer fee?
I can remember when arsenal developed, their spend on players fell like a stone and with the fair play rules , will this impact even more ?
I have no idea how these things work as you probably have guessed

I think expenditure on facilities is ignored for PSR/FFP purposes. One possible problem we have is there is no indication we have an ownership group who are willing to put in large amounts of capital. That means that investment off the field might impact investment on the field.

Maybe not though? There's also the possibility of long term mortgage style debt.

That’s something I don’t know. No idea who might come in and invest if anyone or if there’s external investment. It doesn’t count as far as I’m aware as PSR so can be separated from the footballing side. But the still leaves the funding question.

Wasting your time mate just be glad we have people with different views in charge
The people in charge, won't be extending the stadium . They might improve or increase corporate but, if we go down!! We will lose these new season tickets and have 6,000 empty seats. We haven't sold out season tickets yet.
