It already does.Yeah, that's what I thought too. I guess they could put the stage up the other end, but then you lose all of the BCB, but I suppose you could offer access to other seats from there.
Other than a loss of regular capacity, which isn't ideal, what would physically stop the NWC having boxes like this?

That was a typo, North East Corner. What do you mean by NWC having boxes like that? They already have boxes above the NWC.
Typo, I meant North East Corner. I corrected myself afterwards but it went on a different post because the 5 minute edit time was up.It already does.
I meant the North Stand, but yes, that was my point that the South Stand would be pointless if the main driver was concerts.
To be clear, I'm talking about the North East Corner here. What's to stop us putting boxes there, mate?
There's access right next to it by way of lift and stairs. I don't see the relevance of the control room in the South Stand here, but maybe I'm missing something?

Reduced capacity. Moving season tickets. A huge amount of infrastructure work for just boxes. Such as additional toilets and stairs. Unless you think adding extra people to that area without health and safety considerations for additional football and getting them to share the bogs with BCB? And if you’re talking just that corner, why go to all that trouble for 4 boxes.
I recognise the reduced capacity, but we could gain that back elsewhere with a few tweaks.
There are toilets right next to where the boxes would be already.
As for the number of boxes, it looks more like 6, but once you concede it's possible, you could easily make it more by going as far into the east stand as health and safety would allow.
It seems possible.
Tidied and agree mate. Just ignore all the other points and make up some random make tweaks elsewhereI recognise the reduced capacity, but we could gain that back elsewhere with a few tweaks.

It seems stupid.
You could possibly have a small kitchen area in an existing area towards the east side of the BCB and serve drinks from the BCB's existing bar as well as having mini bar options. The boxes in the SWC were designed in from the start. NEC has the same problems ae East. You have to be able to get food and drink round from the West Stand right through another hospitality area.
Seems possible thoWhich are already fully utilised by the BCB, with queues at both gents and ladies at half time.

I misread your post there. It’s been built for years and ‘they’ didn’t always come though. Understandably so because we’ve been shocking for most of the SOLs existence, which is why it’s best to wait to see what the future holds and see if there is a sustainable demand for it. In my opinion.
Is that not just the prep for Sam Fender’s gigs this weekend? I have the misfortune of driving past most days for work and never notice any particular activity.

10 boxes, or whatever, wouldn't really need much catering. It's a very cheap change, little risk and potentially a relatively quick positive yield.
Definitely possible. Maybe not plausible for logistical reasons, but nowt to do with taking the roof off etc like the were saying a few pages back, mateSeems possible tho![]()
“Two mins mate, we’re pouring drinks for the boxes, I know you’ve paid thousands but you’ll have to wait” Mental you like
I wouldn't pay £2600 for the BCB, others will though and that's all that matters.I woldn't pay £40k for that level of service. More pertinently, it's more than probable the NEC will become the away end.
The staff in there are run off their feet anyway.
Didn't you say plans were already in place? Surely if you know that then you can say what the alleged plan is and it would save all these attempts to create a workable solution.Tidied and agree mate. Just ignore all the other points and make up some random make tweaks elsewhere
“Mate where’s the toilets?” “Just go round there and head into the BCB”
The current BCB pours drinks for the boxes, bar at the far end of the BCB, so it's certainly possible.“Two mins mate, we’re pouring drinks for the boxes, I know you’ve paid thousands but you’ll have to wait” Mental you like
