SOL expansion

Annoying how the north stand extension is shorter than the concourse why’s that? Would the south stand extension be the same?
North Stand Upper is 21 Rows due to the road being so close behind and plans had already been approved for the Swimming Pool. The South Stand Extension is the Full 27 rows, same as the Premier Concourse right the way round.

Going round in circles here. The east stand extension for more premium experiences is already agreed. I think its well known the crap hospitality has put off promoters putting concerts on. Wouldnt be surprised if its next summer, theyve already confirmed they are giving all the current exec boxes a full refurb summer 2026 so it would go in line with that.

Lots of logistics to be sorted, mep design etc plus the workforce -currently the e sports arena is waiting the completion of the hicsa and that workforce will move across. By next summer the sheepfold housing will be kicking off so they will be liasing with that work to have joined up thinking on the workforce to complete the project.

One things for sure our current leadership have 5 year plans and stick to it. Theyve improved everything on a rolling basis starting at academy working through stadium and this project is logical next step.
😂

you dont sit on your hands and think about stuff though...

we were in the championship!

the season before we finished 16th

3 seasons before we finished 5th in league 1
Aye we should have been selling out and had waiting lists though.🤔
Youre making stuff up now. I don't think I've seen one person rubbish the footbridge. It was always seen by pretty much everyone as an excellent thing to do.

Also, absolutely no relevance to us extending the stadium.
You're joking right.

But if the plan is to be successful it’s a good plan. That is the clubs thinking.

What is needed immediately is extra hospitality and I'm curious as to how they would do it.

The only real argument for more regular seats at the moment is for concerts. So possibly in use 2 or 3 times a year at most.

They will build a stand. It’s that simple.
Personally I hope we don’t do it. It will look naff when attendance drop off and everyone will take the piss.

With any luck the sheepfolds development and new bridge will encourage more people to come as the infrastructure around the stadium is shite.
Who says it will drop? Cannot stand the negativity of our fan base like.

One man's negativity is another man's realistic forward planning.

People have been saying for years that we should never have extended to 49k. I disagree (I think 49k is a good size for when we're in our usual post war sort of peak position), but it's not necessarily negative to suggest we shouldn't add another 10k to the capacity.

They might.

With respect to the hospitality they tried the Beacon of Light for QPr last game of last season.
