Chris Wilder

Everyone knew the game would have var it wasn’t a surprise. I could understand if it was a wrong call but anyone with any football knowledge could see the player was blocking off pattersons view so it was a call that var was made to correct.

He’s a bit of a gobshite though you don’t know what’s went down during end of season reviews and mettings. He has a bit of a messiah complex going on.
Aye that’s very true, might have asked to sign another bunch of players on big money as some people on a message board say that means you deserve to go up.

Same could said of the sacking of Carrick
They’ve had at least 8 days more to sound out a new manager, just seems if Sheff United do sack him they’ve lost ground on other top teams in the league.

A proper dinosaur football-wise. Not sure if he was responsible for the signings of Cannon and Brereton Diaz but the pair of them were awful.

That coupled with him dropping his arse as the game went on at Wembley and it was time for him to go.

£13m on Cannon when he was already signing Diaz (who will come good with a better manager imo) and had Campbell, was a honking decision. And some wanted us to get involved?

£1m for Mayenda, behold: the model works.
Not saying he’s a bad manager cos he isn’t. Just seemed to start going on like a knob years ago and hasn’t stopped. Him singing with the fans slagging off Sheff Wed isn’t very fitting of a current manager is it?

He’s not a great manager. We played them three times and their football was poor. They always looked a significantly worse team than Leeds, Burnley and us at our best imo. And Coventry under Lampard tbh. And he spent more money than anyone.

Also, football is a copy-cat sport. They will be looking at RLB and Lampard and thinking - let’s try something new, paid off for those teams.

He’s a good championship manger
You can’t get 90 points & not be a bad manager it’s his over all attitude I don’t like

aye, fair play mate.....In all honesty I think sacking him is harsh....in a footballing sense....but fully enjoy it cos he absolutely hates us....I mean stood on a pub table singing "Sausage, Sausage" Rohl"..Cos it rhymes with "Danny, Danny Rohl"...now it also rhymes with "Dole"...funny how things turn out sometimes....Hence..I'm in me local and we get a chorus of
"Sausage Sausage Rohl...Wilders on The dole"
Karma I suppose...But no...He more or less did his job until yous spanked him....Not a real reason to be sacked from a footballing point of view, you did it to us a couple of years ago...Sometimes you simply have more dignity if you hold your hands up....I thought Wilder did that post match.....and thought The Blades had a decent season, BUT...You can't take clubs like Sunderland lightly..maybe thats his one mistake, one mistake over a Championship season, shoudn't matter so much...but taking the P*ss on a pub table?....Yea...no sympathy for him....I reserve all me sympathy for us

fwiw marra -( nothing !) it’s really sad to see what’s happening to your club
Wish you nothing but best moving forward …top club whose fans were incredible with our group after our play off win few seasons ago .

Be harsh if he's sacked as performance wise he deserves another season, but obviously there are disagreements regards recruitment.

I've said before, I don't mind Wilder as he makes the Sheffield derbies, especially with his banter interesting....without him they would be sterile.

I for one hope he stays the blades manager.
Nah mate...he's no Warnock....Warnock was funny with it..Wilder isn't.....Years ago Warnock gave out the the trophies for the cricket club I played for one evening...Obviously the area we came from was mainly Wednesday, so we walked up (Those who won owt, which wasn't many cos we were crap)...In Wednesday shirts....he was spot on, took the p*ss...and had a drink with everybody...Remember that time he said "I would love to be Wednesday manager....I would take 'em down to the Northern Premier"...Radio Sheffield was electric with P*ssed off Owls fans?...I thought it was funny as fck
