Lommel SK - Lee Johnson

Not really but just don’t think he deserves the stick he gets on here.

Not me mate. Agree it’s all about opinions and I appreciate he wasn’t popular with many.
No, I liked Summerbee as a poster but he'd argue the hind legs off to defend the boy Johnson. I don't hate Johnson in the slightest but don't rate him. He was a decent part of our lowest ever period and is as culpable as Parky or the other one.

Anyone with a front four of Clarke, Stewart, Pritchard and Roberts would have got us promoted from that league. We were 2 points off the top when he left. Johnson was well on the way to getting us promoted. The side actually had a better points per game ratio with Johnson than after he left. Neil finished in a worse position than Johnson was when he was sacked.
As you well know Neil didn’t take over immediately after Johnson left. Which suggests you’re deliberately twisting the facts to give a false account of the Johnson era. Your not another HCs sleeper account are you?

I haven’t twisted any facts I’ve just said we had a higher points ratio with him than without him that season which is true! I don’t even know who HC is you are referring to sorry.

Genuinely don’t sorry. What does the HC stand for and it might ring a bell?
I think he means Head Coach.

The implication being - like Michael Beale had an anonymous account on Twitter - you’re actually Lee Johnson’s anonymous account on here

Well done Lee “Johnno, bomb alley, pomo, sharks, ice in veigns fire in bellies”Johnson

I really don’t hate the bloke at all. Good luck and well done to him!

He certainly helped move us forward. But his supposed quality football was often rank and ineffective playing around at the back, taking chances and then lumping it forward anyway. We were more effective under him when we were more direct. Couldn't organise us defensively and didn't seem to see the need for a bit of experience back there

Did he not bring Bailey Wright in?

Did he not bring Bailey Wright in?

Wasn't that Parkinson on loan initially and then full during the summer.

He was here when Batth was brought in, though Speakman was obviously In charge then.

Comment was more about the lineups at times when Hoffmann, Doyle and Cirkin were suffering (even Neil) and he just kept on with them. When Neil arrived he sussed how defensively weak and inexperienced we were straight away and tried to adjust it gradually.

He did ok for us and came across as a decent bloke. Its easy to forget how horrendous things had become under Parkinson and LJ got us playing decent stuff at times. Was replaced at the right time by the right man, luckily for us.
