Premier League viewing figures down 10%

I keep seeing people say that demand for PL footy is massive compared to when we were last there, but everyone I know in person and on here says they watch it less and less.
 
I know it's mentioned a lot, but I suspect iptv is having an effect as well. I'm a bit bored of the Premier league. I'll watch if there's a derby, or a big end of season match, but I don't bother watching the vast majority. That might change now we're in it but I think I'm just at an age where I can't be arsed watching the same teams playing each other with relatively little on the line. A mid season Brighton v Bournemouth match holds no interest. But equally I feel like back in the day you always felt everyone had a chance at home. Loved when we played one of the big 4 at the SoL, you always felt we might get something. Not sure if the stats back it up, but now it feels like those games are almost always a procession for the big clubs so again my interest is lowered even in a lot of games with a top side involved.

If that's true of other people around my age (40) then they've got a problem because I suspect younger people are even less likely to pay their subscription prices when they can get iptv for a fraction and it includes all the boxing etc.

Also doesn't help that the relegation places are so nearly uncontested now. If there's not a big title race going on, very few neutrals really care about which clubs get into which European competition. Relegation battles are much more "exciting" and last season had nowt approaching one, it was obvious who was going down almost from about two months in. It's becoming stale and fewer people will pay for it if that keeps up

It's often said that the EPL is a global league played in England. There'll be beer halls in West Africa where they do show Bournemouth v Brighton because players they know might be involved
 
The cost of watching Sunderland in Thailand in the Premier League will be cheaper next season. I was paying about 140-170 pounds through the club website to watch the League 1 and Championship games since we got relegated. There's a new broadcaster here which will bring ALL Premier league and FA Cup games to the local market in Thai and English for around 400 baht a month, which is less than 10 pounds a month. That's about 50% cheaper than it used to be with the old broadcaster Truevisions. I was expecting to be paying more for watching us play in the Premier League next season.

The modern day Sky Sportswashing “English Premier” league bullshit has brought us Man City winning the league over and over again with an easy win bought by oil money hoovering up world cup stars, Saudi murderers buying a local club wholesale, nylon shirts for £100+, season tickets topping three grand at some clubs, kick off times shifted to suit TV rather than supporters and obscene wages for professional footballers

I'm not really sure how they do. People just move the servers around.

Piratebay was set up 22 years ago. They took the people who made it to trial in 2009 they went to jail for 6 years and it's still going strong. Albeit harder to access than it used to be.
