Jamie Vardy

Know it’s against the model, but could be worth a punt on a free.

We have Wilson who likes to run in behind and Eli who likes to run at defenders. But what we missed was a rat in the box to put away the pull backs and crosses.

Could he still do it in the prem? Gives an option off the bench and it would piss Wayne Rooney off even more.
Wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.

He's done well to continue for so long, especially for a speed-merchant. But I think his time is done.

I imagine he'll be looking for a final payday somewhere - MLS or Wrexham maybe.

Im certainly not averse to the idea say 2 year deal one as a player other as a coach

His experience be invaluable only one seemed to be trying when ever I saw Leicester play

Get hendo in that midfield

Vardy up front

What makes you think he can coach?
Look at all the ex-players that get appointed to jobs but couldn't manage a piss-up in a brewery. How does he communicate his ideas and how clear are they? What are his coaching methods based on? Is he inclusive/fair/trustworthy? There's loads to consider when making coaching appointments and based on his choice of missus, I'd say he's got pretty cack judgement.

Fair enough those questioning whether they'd want a 38 year old, no issue with that at all

But those questioning his professionalism and commitment are way off. He is an absolute model professional, works harder than anybody in the squad and a really nice bloke too who does a lot for the community. If we'd have had 11 Jamie Vardy's over our last two Premier League campaigns we would not be the shambles of a club we are now. Don't let the pathetic carry on with his Mrs cloud your judgement of him.

Edit: and for him to be a called a speed merchant is bizarre. Yes he had brilliant pace but he's a bloody clever striker. Has scored so many different types of goals over the years, right, left, head doesn't matter.

I think his body and age is catching up with him….on a good team in PL maybe 5 goals and not playing the full 90 minutes to be honest Spurs would be his best fit he has also worked with Maddison

Imagine if Sir Stanley Matthews had been written off at 38.😳

Is he definitely leaving? Is there no possibility that he'll stay with you?
He's gone.
After the massive Vardy wankathon, not wanting to play the last game so he could bow out on 200 goals in 500 games, I’d think not like.
Think that was more a club directed thing as it tied in nicely for the last home match and gave them a welcome distraction from the shit they've been getting.
