Eng vs India - First Test - 20th-24th June


I remember saying soon after he got picked that he would be lucky to get 10 tests. You just knew he would always be the easy one to leave out and carry drinks.

I can’t see why Potts can’t play against Sussex like unless they’ll play him in the 2nd test but Atkinson should be fit again

Just seems a bit daft really. His last red ball bowl was a month ago vs Hampshire which was 29 overs and they rested him the round before vs Worcestershire.

He's bowled 118 overs so far this English red ball season and as it stands hat 118 overs will remain the same number until June 22nd at the earliest.

I's not exactly great for a young lad.

Agreed. Love the lad but not convinced he should be opening the bowling for England on recent form snd hes not a 2nd or 3rd change bowler like Overton.

Yeah bit of a cock up. Podcast other day said he’s just been unfortunate as every time they were going to release him an England bowler got a niggle. Sounds like it’s due to that rather than any plan.
