Sheff Wed - financial issues


If The EFL don't out this idiot, they are as much fit for purpose as the clown himself.
I'll happily take the hit and the tumble down the league , simply look at it like a doctor draining a f.ookin;' ulcer, I might not be able to walk for a bit, but I'll live.
This is a problem you get when you sell your club, your ground and your soul to an idiot who first words were
"I know little of football"..Should have been a red flag to fans...should have had sodding alarm bells ringing at The EFL..."Fit and Proper Person"...
Its like going for an interview to be a bloody rocket scientist and asking what a fookin' "Rocket" is...you would be outta there in one minute flat!
I can well remember saying to @Swindon On Tour on here..."Head down mate keep going"...He did ..but told me how hard it was...i'm gonna have to take me own advice now .
Already got next years season ticket, cos we sell them at Christmas so our esteemed owner doesn't have a "Cashflow problem"
Worked out well didn't it?

Our owner up in Court in Australia.
Sworn under oath that he can’t read a balance sheet yet wants to loan the club £3 million for a stand development.
Case around winding up businesses and not paying creditors.

Ffs and so many of our fans lap it up.

It’s shit mate because you can’t love your club the same, you just can’t.

Looking at it was hard to swallow for an away fan, never mind a Wednesday fan.
When I saw it, it was definitely a shake of the head moment.

I mean we are run up there with one of the best clubs outside the premier league. We had a healthy wage bill far from the top and far from the bottom we recruit well etc etc and have one of the best academies out there yet we were still posting losses of what was the last £8m?. This from a club with a massive fan base, 40k or so average and being on tv a hell of a lot. If we are still losing such figures it just shows how unsustainable it is outside the top flight.

I doubt it's sustainable without the constant rejigging of the "Champions" league format and other equally parasitic Euro competitions.
