Be good if he goes there, I really rate him. They're pushing hard for him
The Premier League can't even stop owners when those rules bar them from ownership. Rules bar a 'state' from owning and running a football club. PIF argued in a court of law in the US (and won) that it was an arm of the state and so were the people who governed and run it. That discounts them from owning NUFC...and yet the ostriches at the EPL prevail. I have no faith they will impose proper sanctions on City or even close to it.You weren’t in the PL though. City are. The PLand FL have different rule books.
Clubs are businesses. The PL couldnt stop a business being sold to a new owner unless they’re convicted criminals.
Whilst true that fine didn’t put them in anymore debt, they were forced to write off around £20m worth of debt into shares then were fined around £20m.It is quite hilarious that the punishment for a club over spending and risking going into serious debt is a....massive fine to put them into massive debt.
Oil money controls football nowThis has gone suspiciously quiet again. Man City spending money again with 34 mill for Rayan Cherki.
This is gonna roll into next season at this rate. If Man City are still spending they must think nothing will happen.

Yeah but not even a not guilty, or a promise you won’t do it again.Nothing will happen, they have the most expensive lawyers in the world (probably)
They admitted guilt and was a single charge against the over 115 which Man City deny so it’s only right that this one takes longer.Everton are 1 example so far.

They don't care or know they will get a fine. Or both. This has gone suspiciously quiet again. Man City spending money again with 34 mill for Rayan Cherki.

Still nothing, months after we were told there’d be a decision. In that time they’ve spent about 200 million on players btw.
Awful club.
