Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)

Do you condemn Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, Jihadi State, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Islamic State?

You condemn Hendo - let’s hear your views!
If you look at my posting history, I have been a huge critic of human rights abuses in Islamic countries. They're vile, and I've been very consistent on this.
I've had accusations of 'racism' for being critical of Islamic culture in general.

Because he hated it there. That's called consequence, not regret that he made a huge moral fckup and betrayed a group of people he'd been very publically supporting.
Where's the evidence that he had some sort of moral epiphany?
He could well be a great signing for us, but he's still a hypocrite who refuses to condemn the Saudis.
There's no firm evidence either way for his decision. Damning him is just as unfair as complete forgiveness.

I don’t support Henderson. He doesn’t need my support - he is a very successful footballer who has captained his country, captained his club to the Champions League Trophy - is a great husband, father, son and mate! Who are you big man?
I have to be 'someone' to express an opinion on a footballer's moral choices?
Can I criticise Adam Johnson because I'm a 'nobody'?

He completely threw away everything he said he publicly stood for. A mistake is something much more minor. What he did was unforgiveable. He doubled down whilst out there being a poster boy for the world cup bid. He commanded big money because the Saudis knew, as we know if they Could corrupt someone like him, anyone is getable

Yes that too
Sainthood awaits.

I don't look down on Jordan Henderson. As I have explained I just don't think he is the right type of role model for our youngsters to look up to. Don't you see the difference? He made a big thing about gay rights, equal opportunities and he was (quite rightly) plauded for it and admired hugely by many people. Then he tossed all of that away to seek $$ millions in Saudi - a country well known for its appalling record on gay rights, human rights in general and the way they treat women. The fact that he may or may not have actually earned any money in the end is irrelevant. he chose to go there.

How do you know I have never met the guy? All you can say for certain is that you have never met me (thank goodness!) You also have no idea whether or not I have spoken to his friends, family, team mates of business associates. You don't have a fecking clue about that.

I have never thought, written, implied or said I am superior to Jordan Henderson. I simply think we could have a better role model in place as our captain.

My life has nothing to do with whether we should sign Jordan Henderson. That is a really odd thing for you to write. I would never take money from Saudi - whether that is the state or a private company that runs a football club. I suppose we all have different ethics and morals and we just need to make our own choices.
Hendo is a great role model. Isador played in Russia this season - should we condemn him?

Islamic regimes such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan. Lebanon, murder Christians and hang members of the LGBTI community - how are tpyou protesting against these countries? Or is it just Hendo you condemn?

You certainly can’t criticise Hendo unless you are a great husband, father, son, uncle, father in law, mate and employee. Because he is all of these!

I'm not damning him, I just think he could fix this by opening his gob and speaking out about KSA and his regret for abandoning the people who looked up to him and relied on him for his support.
He chooses not to, that is his choice and I think he's a fool and a bit of a bottler. I'm not going to spit my dummy out if we sign him, but it's entirely on him and in his hands to put this right hy speaking out. He seems to have lost the voice he had when he was supporting the gay community...

Careful... it's a hot day. He/she will malfunction trying to answer sensible questions like that. :)
Listen mate. Next time you see Jordan Henderson - go up to him and tell him you are a far superior person. You ain’t got the guts -;you’re what Hendo calls a “butterfly” - flying around but no content or fight!

A player who tossed aside well publicised ethics to (attempt to) earn big money in Saudi is certainly not a great role model. Far from it. If you just can't understand that then there's little point in continuing the discussion. I'm away out to cut the grass, so knock yourself out with your drama. :D

I just care about who we make captain and is therefore a role model for youngsters. As far as I am aware we aren't in the transfer market for captain candidates from those regimes. But please enlighten us if you know better and we have interest in any Champions' League winning captains from Pakistan.

It's obvious you don't care about such things. I find that sad but i accept that we all have different opinions.

Well I can.... and I have.

I've never commented on whether he is a good father, husband, son or whatever..... I don't really care. Good on him if he is. The world needs more of them.
I can, and have, said he would make a poor role model as captain of our club and I have clearly explained why.

Anybody who relies on Hendo for his support is so weak! Don’t blame Hendo for their inadequacies! Don’t play victim. It’s an easy game to play - but it lacks any integrity!

Nobody in interested in what you think. What have you achieved in life compared with Hendo? Over to you - surely you’re not just a keyboard warrior? Over to you……….
