I’ve hated the bloke all season. However, his comments post Wembley were fine aside from him saying the stats show they dominated, they don’t. I’m also in full agreement, even though we benefitted, that VAR shouldn’t be in use for one game where every game before it hasn’t had it.

He's clearly bitter about the result like (I mean fair enough).

Do the stats show that we set up to counter attack? Do they show that when RLB changed the system we were on top?

Do they show that Sheff Utd were knackered after an hour?

I don’t feel any real dislike of Wilder. He’s a massive Blades fan and wears his heart on his sleeve.

I think he’s a bit of a dinosaur as a manager, a bit too old school now.

In the three games against us this season, even including the defeat at Bramall Lane, I think Le Bris out thought him.

If voted in got nowt to moan about

Plus most knew VAR was going to be involved last week

Thing is we'll never know if the linesman would've briefly spoken to the ref and given it. When VAR is involved, very often they'll let the game continue and don't make decisions. They are instructed to do so and it's obvious. It may not have 'saved' us from an illegal goal just delayed the decision being made
 
I can't understand anyone complaining about the use of VAR in that game.

With 200m on the line, decisions which could influence it need to be right. We have seen enough errors this season to know that without it, refs don't always get it right.

To the naked eye at the time it looked like a goal but it's clear on every replay and to every pundit that the right outcome was reached. Him moaning about it is just deflecting from how his team threw away the game.

I disagree though not a fan of var but that would’ve stood on Saturday even though it was clear as day patto had his vision blocked. The game is worth £200m for it to hinge on a Lino not picking up that call would’ve been criminal. The fact is it was in play for both sides they can moan all they want but it was the right call.
