Dan Neil

Dan Neil will only get better it’s a position he’s playing that takes years to master and it’s new to him really !!! I think he will be better in the prem as better pitches maybe less physical than the champo either way he’s gonna improve

The pitches in the championship are like carpets and the Premier league is quicker and more physical .

Which Premier League are you thinking of? Darts? Because the football one is in no way less physical than the Championship.

I think we all would be.

Not for me. Jobe isn't and likely never will be the player some think he is. He was always coming here to get games and move on, so we never had a realistic long term chance of keeping him unless he was absolutely shite. He's been nowhere near as good or as effective for most if this season as some are suggesting for us and whilst his stock is high now is the time to sell. If it wasn't for his surname and physique there would barely be any interest.

Whilst Neil has got a truck load of stick for getting caught on the ball (something which barely happens anymore) Jobe has spent the last five months receiving the ball in mid to semi advanced positon, doing a 180' turn to facing his own goal and passed the ball backwards and barely recieved any.

Whether Neil progresses into a PL footballer or not he's about at our level and as a local lad there's a bit more leeway with him and more chance of keeping, so unless he won't sign a deal or unless we sign two or three midfielders it's pointless selling.

At the moment neither of them are PL quality footballers and I'm not sure either ever will be.

Incredibly harsh that surely?

Surely the likes of Frankfurt and Dortmund can see past a 'big name' and have the data to support their interest?

Was a weird old season for Neil. Started off shocking and even mentioned in a interview he knew he had been miles off it. Then he seemed to find top form for a couple of months, stepping out with the ball , good passing then it all seemed to vanish again by the end of the season.

Don't think he'll ever be entirely comfortable playing the role RLB wants him too IMO.

Yes it is get away with murder in the championship tossing people about on corners etc no var
Well that's something else entirely man, I doubt having more scrutiny on scuffles in the penalty area is going to have any effect on Neil's game. Put him up against the scum's midfield in the middle of the pitch and try saying the game will be less physical than the Championship.
