Cirkin issues

His mistakes tend to come when he gets a little too comfortable, either on the ball or holding his man off to draw a foul. He has all the ability to play at next level with ball control, aerial ability and quickness. I don’t have many doubts he can gain a little pragmatism against better competition and keep it more simple when he has the opportunity to get doe the flank.

I agree.
Part of why he wanted to come away from London is to do with making a new start after losing his Dad. Grief takes time. Somebody here suggested his Mam has moved up here now, which is great and I'm sure her support will help.
Regarding on the pitch stuff, he is young and learning and improving. But fitness problems last season hindered the gaining of consistency. The wrist thing took ages to heal and didn't he get a muscle injury after he had been called up to the England U-21s and had to withdraw? Two major blows, and some kids take longer than others to get over things.
Hopefully days like Saturday and the playoff games, the dressing room togetherness we've seen, and the support of us lot will all contribute to him becoming a top flight player.

Did anyone else notice him sitting on the middle of the Wembley pitch on his own? Hope the lads fine, gives his all for us.
 
Cirkin always looks better when he’s had a good run of games to build his fitness. He’s only just come back so still won’t be 100%. I rate him and think he’ll do alright next season
 
I really don't get the meanspiritedness of some of the posters on here. What do you gain by being malicious and spiteful towards our players?

I think Dennis is, potentially, a star in the PL. There have been performances and moments of brilliance that light up games.

Like every one of our young players, there are fluctuations in form, borne of physical immaturity and limited experience. We should all know that consistency is often one of the last pieces of the jigsaw. Dennis is one of the older heads in the squad, but, he's still eligible to play U21s. Let's not forget how much further the players may progress with maturity and experience.

He's got great hair, too.
 
The more consecutive games Dennis gets the better Dennis gets. He's a power house who the lads in the team love and respect. Gets done for speed upon occasion but there's way to manage that as naughty lads have proved in the past. Having Alese inside him will be a massive assist and it could be part of a massive foundation next season is built off.

Watch the game again and tell me Neil had a stinker. If you do we know your comments mean absolutely nothing. 3 mistakes in the 2nd half in quick succession doesn’t make poor game.

I can remember many on here at the time saying he was one of the clear PL quality players in the squad. A lot of people have forgotten that. I think he'll come good next season, as long as we don't expect too much.

Not exactly going to cheer the fans up as we were going through a bad patch and hearing one of our up and coming young players had signed for another club after playing a handful of games.
