Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)

Has to be an agenda. He's captained a UCL team (15 games) who finished 1pt beging PSV in 2nd place in the league (28 games), scoring in the final game.

He followed his mentor Gerrard to Saudi and immediately realised it was a mistake and took a massive financial hit to turn his back.

Recalled to England squad.

He hasn't been poor by any metric.

Care to explain why YOU consider him to have done "nowt" in the last 3 seasons?
Ajax having a fairly average Eredivisie season means nothing.

Followed his mentor is just laughable, if he was football focused and such a model professional he could have signed for any of the other PL 14.

The England squad is a work in progress under a new coach. The difference is with England he can be dropped for the next group of matches. We’d be stuck paying him 75k per week if reports from the last couple of pages are to be believed.

Not at all, I loved him here and what he did with Liverpool. I just think we could be a bit more savvy with our transfer strategy given what his career has been like from his last season at Liverpool, if I’m wrong I’m wrong I’ve no problem admitting that.

Wasting your time marra.

Imagine if it was any other 35 year old man.

I'm a 53 year old Finance Director with 2 degrees.

You?

He's a public figure and can be judged accordingly.

You're a strange person.
No - you are strange. You think it is ok to denigrate the character and integrity of a person you have never met! Your achievements melt into nothing in comparison to what Hendo has achieved! You seem so aloof that you question why I should challenge your opinion!

Two degrees - what are you trying to say? You’re important. I’ve got degrees but never feel the need to mention them - if that’s your best achievement, I’d suggest you start a period of reflection!

If we can get him for next to nothing in terms of wages then whatever give him a chance but my posts have been mainly in reply to saying it would be doable to get Henderson on 75k a week. It’s insanity, that’s 300k a month, we need to make every penny count now we are playing under a different set of financial rules.

Still no need to down play his performances for the past 3 years.

He would be a slight risk, dependent on who partners up with him, but ever a player has looked after himself well enough to prolong their career, it's Jordan Henderson.

With such a young team and a transfer policy that has so far gone for young improving players, if we are to continue with that, Jordan is simply the perfect player to mentor our midfield and then perhaps go into coaching.

As above with my post fair enough if we can pay him a pittance, but not at 75k a week.

You can judge him on his actions you f***ing balloon.

How do you judge the mags, the saudis, the government unless you've met them all.

You asked if I was a student and I was explaining what I do.

clearly on a wind up.

This is what you said

How about you grow up - piling on Hendo - a great person and role model. Who do you think you are? What have you achieved that gives you the right to attack Hendo? Are you a student?

Hendo is a top guy. He’d want to be well paid but I think his motivation if he comes would be to help his home town.

He’d would add value as a player, a colleague to the younger players and a great sounding board to Reggie facing his first season in the EPL
