Coventry. First leg. The one in the box. When have you ever seen Jobe chase back and put a tackle in?
Agree with this. First choice CB definitely needed alongside. Upwards of 20 million, that kind of signing.I would bring Mepham in tbh. We need two CBs so him coming in would fill one space and leave room to try and spend money on a first choice CB to pair with Ballard. Mepham and O Nien would be fine back ups for a team getting promoted.
He literally did superb tackling back in the box for the first play off game. Saved what looked to be a sitter.Eh? Jobe tracks back and hoys loads of tackles in
I’ve witnessed him jogging back when his opposite number is breaking their neck getting forward, more times.Coventry. First leg. The one in the box.
A tackle that was as valuable as us scoring a goal.
Correct -he would be a great additionHe’s played for a newly promoted club who did exactly that
No thanks better value for the money on the open marketThere's surely no way he's on 65k a week at Bournemouth.
He's going into the last year of his contract too, so I think there's plenty scope for us to hopefully sign him.
I hope we don't sign too many squad players. We should be looking at first team players to upgrade current first team players, who will in turn become the squad players. We can’t turn our noses up at him as a squad player mind.
A lot of premier league appearances, will be a reasonable fee, mid 20s, and knows the club/squad.
I’d be happy to bring him in.
Did you miss the first leg v Coventry mate? In fact, every game he’s played? When have you ever seen Jobe chase back and put a tackle in?
His whole game seems to be receive the ball in midfield and either feint forward and turn backwards and pass to the centre halves.
Pass to the wing.
Slows the attack, cannot break quickly.
Cannot get box to box.
But he’s still a kid, probably needs a decent coach to give him a kick up the arse ( not Dodds).
Theres a reason why Bournemouth sent him out on loan
This. If we stay-up, we can then attract a better level of player but he has been there and done what we need.yeah they have since moved on from premier league relegation battles. they had zabarnyi and huijsen as first choice with sensei as back up
He was a big signing from Brentford to Bournemouth in the prem. I wouldn’t be surprised. There's surely no way he's on 65k a week at Bournemouth.
He's going into the last year of his contract too, so I think there's plenty scope for us to hopefully sign him.
Yeah just like Roma did with EnzoTheres a reason why Bournemouth sent him out on loan
