PSR rules and the real KLD/KS masterclass

Obviously looks good when you put it like that but the clubs are at different stages and Leeds and Burnley both have parachute payments.

Everyone thought they'd both be promoted, very few thought we would.

I think I'll just sit back, trust those that got us here and see what happens.
It's all we can do anyway in reality. Will be better than seeing our young lads picked off for peanuts if we hadn't gone up mind, and other players didn't sign new contracts (Which they are more likely to do now) The Jobe low fee reported of 18 million will be a bit of a kick in the teeth but not shocking as will have been pre agreed . I thought he would have stayed one season with us at least if we went up and i still think that how quickly he travelled to Germany means it was pre planned , maybe on the assuption we wouldn't go up and he may still opt to stay another year , but that is maybe me overthinking.

Watching him nearly bubbling up sing Cant help falling in love with you, and the words "Shall I stay, would it be a sin" back has me thinking he maybe thinking of staying after all .

The deadwood won't be on massive wages so it's not the issue it would be for other teams. For instance, Coventry would probably need to accept a loss on Wright and Simms before they even started to strengthen.

The problem in that respect is that our 'deadwood' will have had promotion rises too.

I thought it was around £100m. All spent on the wrong kind of player.
Basically spent £100m to give them a strong championship team for next season. Not really value for money.
All he has to do is identify 8-12 players that are significantly undervalued and overlooked by the top 5 leagues in world football but are good enough to play in the most competitive one, and ensure they don't cost much.
He would do well to get himself on here for tips.

Surely by keeping academy lads where theres zero cost it allows more purchases.

If as in the case of man utd they are a bit stuck then flogging your top foreign earners is surely the better strategy as academy players dont impact your current p&l which is a good thing. Removing them / selling them surely just makes things even more difficult in the long term especially if they are good players. Flog the shit ones!!!
