Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)

I can see this happening on the last day of the transfer window if we can’t get in our 3rd or 4th midfield choices.

Let’s be honest, his legs had gone during the last season he was at Liverpool, and I’m quite sure he won’t have improved since.

100% but the odds are against it, unless something has changed in tne relationship between Jordan and the people running the clubs football operations.

This will be an early transfer to increase interest from other targets.

So be it but for me we can't criticise the skunks for being bankrolled by the riyal ,and give Henderson a pass on playing a part in sportswashing .It's my perogative to not want Henderson back .That said there would be no way it would effect my support of the lads .If I'm out of kilter I care not we all have different values
STOP! You are a lone negative voice

Aye. Henderson is one of the few we would consider

People seem to still not have worked out how we do business looking at some of the posts

Worth noting that Henderson is a premier league as European cup winning captain

And existing English International
He’s the modern day Steve Bould. Keep us up for one season is all we need
My opinion anyone who took saudi coin ,would just come here and rip as much out the club as possible

Don’t get the logic of your opinion at all
The only reason he would come back to Sunderland is because he has earned so much he can afford to.

Again irrational logic.
We would not be buying him from the Saudis, Saudis would not be paying him, he is not Saudi.
Newcastle are owned by the Saudi state, its direct involvement.
On the basis of your argument you would not put petrol in your car.
Now if you dislike anyone who has worked in Saudi that’s your choice but it’s got bugger all to do with comparing Sunderland values to Newcastles.

Player coach role on wages that reflect his position, yes. However short term a big contract as a player, no. Let him prove how much he wants to come back by foregoing a massive wage.

The perfect signing to be honest. Get this done early, continue the buzz about the place and set us up nicely for the rest of the summer. Absolute no brainer personally, one of our weakest areas this year has been ball retention and he's been one of the best in the world at it over the last decade. Incredible value off the pitch too
And value off the field no brainer

That's fallacious. There's a necessity to put petrol in your car, there's not a necessity to want your preferred football team to sign Jordan Henderson. Those 2 things are not remotely equivalent.

Henderson came out with a load of embarrassing bull5hit when he left Liverpool. He went for the money. A blind man, blindfolded in a room with blackout blinds could see that for what it was.

No brainer for me. Only had to see what he was like on the pitch during that covid season for Liverpool, big fog horn voice constantly talking to those around him. He's a manager on the pitch. Think his leadership and confidence would be brilliant around our young group. We need a couple old heads with Prem experience added to this group for it to work.

Nonsense. He was asked about being linked to us last season and said he had no idea where it has come from. It was another made up stick to beat Speakman with from clowns.
