Surrey penalised 5 runs for player misconduct.

Santner given out LBW

He didn't like it, waved his bat at the umpire saying he hit it. Took a swing at the stumps and missed

Umpire consulted match referee and the result was Worcestershire score increased by 5.

Saw a clip of it on twitter earlier, tbf he had every right to be annoyed as it looked like it came straight off his bat rather than pad

Not keen on that, especially given the (lack of) quality we’ve seen from county umpires this season.

Ahmed with another hundred foir Leicestershire although runs seem to be easy to come by in that game.

Asa Tribe, just turned 21, with his debut century for Glamorgan in the same game. I saw him play vs Middlesex a few weeks ago and was very impressed. He's having a good season so far.

Regardless of the standard of the umpiring, action has to be taken for dissent as blatant as that. The penalty should be imposed on the player not the team.,however.

It’s more frustration than dissent, it’s not the same as Pant yesterday for example.

If anyone hasn't seen the decision, the Ump is lucky that Santner aimed his bat at the stumps and not the umps head  dreadful decision

Redfern in the Lancashire game was guilty of an absolute shocker too, I forget the batsman, but Lanky had an lbw shout that was hitting all 3 and wasn’t given.

I see the Kookaburra ball is back for this round of games. It might explain why we've got quite a few high scoring games.

The next thing we have to deal with is hybrid pitches at the end of the season.

Don't like the sound of that.
